Developing embedded systems just got a lot simpler with the Meridian CPU. Develop your software in managed code thanks to the .NET Micro Framework from Microsoft.
Use the tools you know
Write, download and debug code in Visual Studio 2010 using the .NET Micro Framework SDK from Microsoft. The SDK (a free download from Microsoft) also includes an emulation environment that you can extend and customize to your exact needs. Use it as a test bed, or a demonstration platform for potential customers.
Get to market fast
Avoid a lengthy development cycle - just place the Meridian CPU on your board design and start writing managed code for your application with Microsoft’s Visual Studio 2010. It’s as simple as that!
Designed for high volume
The Meridian CPU integrates a Freescale i.MXS or i.MXL processor, RAM, Flash and Power supply into a surface mounted component (35mm x 35mm). Your PC board can use as few as 2-layers, since the components requiring a multi-layer design are isolated on the CPU.
